José Luis Marcó joined Seeliger y Conde · Kingsley Gate as a Partner in June 2005. He specializes in the Industrial sector, Professional Services and advising on Family Business, as well as in the evaluation and design of Boards of Directors.
He began his professional career in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector where he worked for 7 years, among other functions as Chief Financial Officer of the Mexican subsidiary of the Werfen Group. Later he was Manager of the Events and Communication Agency of the Media Planning Group.
In 1998 he took on a role in professional management in the sports sector as CFO of the R.C.D. Espanyol de Barcelona (historical club of the Professional Soccer League), to later go on to hold the position of General Director of said society for 4 years.
He later became Director of the Conservas Dani Group and Financial Advisor to other companies. In early 2011 he returned to R.C.D. Espanyol as a member of the Board of Directors, until the end of 2012.
He has been a Member of the Executive Board of Amrop International from June 2006 to 2020, responsible for the Financial and Legal areas and Member of the Executive Committee.
José Luis Marcó has a degree in Economic Sciences, an MBA from ESADE, and a PDG from IESE. He also holds a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School and a Certificate in Executive Coaching from ICF.
